Where does the name come from?

"Villa Rustica" is a family-owned agricultural company, founded in 2013 in the center of the Republic of Moldova, in the village of Negrești, Straseni district. A grower and distributor of high quality, regionally grown fresh fruits, owning Stanley plum orchards, cherries and apricots, as well as a vineyard with table grapes Moldova, on a total area of over 50 hectares.

The climatic conditions in the country, mild summers and the fertile soil are advantageous for the cultivation of fruit trees. Due to these factors our fruits have a singular notable taste and allow them to be stored for a long time.
Our purposeful teamwork directs us to evolve the business and obtain the best results in order to grow quality products, increase the volume production, branch out the market, set up lasting partnerships, planning a logistic chain, and develop a good marketing strategy aligned with our core values.

GRASP stands for GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practice. It is a voluntary, ready-to-use module developed to assess social practices on the farm, such as specific aspects of workers' health, safety, and welfare.

The GLOBALG.A.P. Certificate, also known as the Integrated Farm Assurance Standard (IFA), covers Good Agricultural Practices for agriculture, aquaculture, livestock, and horticulture production.
